Karyne (00:00:07) – Hi fantasy readers. This is Karyne Norton, your fellow book binger, and you are listening to the Finding Fantasy Reads podcast where you can test out a new fantasy story every single week to find your next favorite author.

Today’s story is one that hit me a bit personally in some funny ways. My parents are both retired music teachers, and all of us had to take piano and a second instrument, and we all ended up doing choir one way or another. So when I came across this story about a young man who strikes a bargain around his piano skills, I found both the bargain and the stakes a little too relatable.

One Fair Eve is written by Lyndsey Hall, who lives on the edge of Sherwood Forest. It’s one of the most magical places in England’s history, and the inspiration for her debut novel The Fair Queen. Lyndsey loves to travel and try her hand at new things, but is most at home when curled up in a chair with a cup of tea and a good book, usually accompanied by at least one dog. Today’s narrator is Paeter Frandsen, host of Christian Geek Central. Stick around to the end or check out today’s show notes to see where you can find more from both the author and the narrator.

For now, please enjoy One Fair Eve by Lyndsey Hall.
